In today's healthcare, insurance processing can be confusing for any
patient. At Main Street Chiropractic, we are willing and able to assist you.
PATIENTS WITH INSURANCE COVERAGE
If your insurance deductible has not been met, the fee for services is due at the time of service. Any co-payment is payable at the time of treatment. We will bill your insurance carrier for the remaining difference. All insurance checks, drafts, etc. are to be forwarded to this office upon receipt.
Our office is a participating physician’s office. Medicare will send payment directly to us for services we provide. However, we are still required to collect deductibles, co-payments and fees for any non-covered service. Our office will submit the necessary forms to Medicare for you.
If you have an approved Workers’ Compensation Claim we will bill the appropriate Managed Care Organization (MCO). There is no charge at the time of service.
PERSONAL INJURY (AUTO ACCIDENT) PATIENTS
Our office will submit insurance claims for you. There is usually no deductible or co-payment required in these types of cases. If you retain an attorney to represent you in your accident case, under most circumstances our office will refrain from collecting our fees until your case has been settled.
Not all state Medicaid programs cover chiropractic services. This office participates in those that do. Check with the office staff regarding your specific coverage.
This office belongs to many HMO (managed healthcare) groups. Check with the office staff for specific considerations of your plan.
PATIENTS WITHOUT INSURANCE COVERAGE
Payment for services is due and payable at the time they are rendered unless prior arrangements are made.
